St. Mark's Square was a fun "hang out" area. "We sat at St. Mark's square for a while and just talked and watched people of different cultures. We watched all the crazy people let the pigeons land all over themselves. Disgusting! It reminded me of 'Home Alone.' We went into St. Mark's Cathedral and it was very neat. There was tons of gold and the floor was made of Mosaics, but it wasn't level....it was all wavy!" Journal Entry, October 2, 2008 That was very interesting to walk around. St. Mark's Square was in the news a few weeks ago when it was flooded so I hope all is well there!
