Sound of Music

Most of the movie "Sound of Music" was filmed in Salzburg, Austria. As we wandered around the town it was so fun to see things that looked familiar and then to realize why it looked so familiar! They also played the "Sound of Music" each night at the Hostle in the lobby so we could all watch it!

The picture on the left is the back of their home...where they tipped over the canoe! And the picture on the right is where they played hide and seek!

This is the cemetery where the family hid while they were running away at the end of the movie!

The picture on the left is the Convent where Marie stayed and the picture on the right is the arena where the final performance of the movie was held.
